The first ever Too Much Funstival has been announced to take place August 25 - August 28th in Denver, CO. Through a collaboration of co-ops, comedy groups, bands, and a number of diverse organizations and businesses in Denver, local comedy hero and RedvsBlack-er Sam Tallent's idea for a four day festival dedicated to fun is quickly gaining support throughout the community.
As one would expect, the four day festival is set to showcase slews of local bands, comedians, and artists, but in a radically different environment. The structure of the event is built around five person teams, who throughout the weekend will compete in feats of fun including kickball, dodgeball, capture the flag, potato sack races, and the like.
The organizers are promising dunk tanks, bounce castles, free movie screenings, and interactive galleries. And, unlike other festivals, the ticket price is being planned to include food and drink. What could be more fun?
